Central California is the home of one of the largest agricultural basins in the world. From Bakersfield in the San Joaquin Valley in the south to the Sacramento Valley and Red Bluff in the north, this land is home to the cities and towns, and thousands of farms that feed the world. I grew up on one of these farms. The intense year around sunsets are both a stark and comforting reminder that as the sun goes down, tomorrow will be a new day with the opportunities and work this wonderful basin provides. This photo was taken west of Roseville in the Sacramento Valley. This painting is looking for a home to bring the peace and tranquility the sunset provides.
