Red Wales. This painted through a season of pain from surgery, sleepless nights, then excruciating human dysfunction we are experiencing. The painting is done. I create paintings where I want to escape to. Peaceful , with impressions of color and places to sit, read, and breathe. This whimsical Welsh scene is just such a place. 24 x 24 inch on 1 1/2 inch cradled hard wood using mixed media. Look closely and you’ll also find cheesecloth, knitting mesh, and plenty of molding paste. Hope you like it.
