My painting style is typically bold and impressionist. I have been reading lately that the growth of a painter is found in the subtleties, not the bold strokes. I’ve teased this painting along for a few hours today and have enjoyed the dancing of the sky and waves as the depth and joy of the Pacific Ocean and Mondays has emerged.

The panel is triple primed, painted with acrylic paint, and sealed with an isolation coat and two glossy coats of sealer with Ultra Violet Light Stabilizers giving the painting long term superior color preservation and fastness.

This painting captures the beautiful cloudy sunset on the California Coast.
